Furbabies by Sue

A lot of people have been asking "will you do people, even without pets?" and after some careful thought and improving my technique, I've begun doing portrait work. But they aren't ordinary portraits by any means! I love taking old photos and creating real artwork for your home. Here's one of my favorites of all time, Lea with her best friend and prince, Kobi.

This snapshot is almost 40 years old, faded with time. The two little girls now have children of their own who are older than they were in this picture. Their mother wanted this made into a portrait she could display in her livingroom, with a picket fence reminiscent of her mother's and with the family dogs - one who is no longer with them.

Talk about old snapshots...this one is predates 1940. The family wanted only the mother and her children (now in their 70's!) for a special portrait, and they wanted to keep the vintage look but with some color.
